Position – Managing Director

From inception of the company to the present day I have managed RS Sales from small beginnings, through the challenges of growth and changing market influences, with the overall principals of customer care and maintaining  an interest in their business and industrial environment. Our development would not have been achieved without the support of our loyal,  experienced staff and management team who share my common principals. I am committed to ensure these principals prevail for our future.

Julia Hayfield
Position – Director

Having held many roles within R S Sales over the years, now, as head of HR, my main focus is to create a working environment in which R S Sales employees feel motivated, supported and happy. R S Sales are fully committed to providing opportunities for staff to enable them to reach their full potential in their role ensuring that our employees are resilient, quick to adapt and above all to deliver an exceptional service to all our customers.

James Hayfield
Position – Sales Director

Joined – March 2010
As General Sales Manager I head up the sales department and ensure our offer is above market expectations. I have lived through the development of RS Sales and I am excited by the opportunity to continue moving the company forward with the same attitude and commitment that has determined our success to date.

Matt Minter
Position – General Manager

Joined – December 2005
Role – My responsibilities are associated to ensuring overall operational excellence of the company which encompass the offices & warehouse, stock control, purchasing and logistics.  My overall goal is to maintain the smooth running of the company and improve efficiency to ensure our customers get the service they deserve at a competitive price.

Leon Griffiths
Position – Financial Controller

Joined – July 2007
Role – As Financial Controller I ensure the management team is provided with accurate information on a timely basis which helps the company make the right business decisions. A key part of my role is making sure our accounts department remains responsive and flexible to our customer’s requirements. This has included setting up Electronic Invoicing (EDI) and developing tailored expenditure reports for our customers.
